Mammut's DRY DOWN is down of 750 fill power or higher, treated with a down water-repellent finish or a waterproof finish on the outer fabric. 900cuin is the high end of down quality within that.
But warmth also depends on how many grams of down go in. The trick to choosing down is not to compare against a thick down by fill power alone.
Who it suits
The best fit is someone who wants insulation to wear while moving, not just at rests, on rocky ridges and snowy mountains with a helmet and harness. The hood fits over a helmet and the front pockets work with a harness on.
